What is the Fibe TV app?
The Fibe TV app, also available for Satellite TV customers, extends your TV experience to your mobile devices by giving you access to most of the live and On Demand programming you already subscribe to. Watch content on your smartphone, tablet, computer, Apple TV and Amazon Fire TV Stick Basic Edition.
Installing the app
The Fibe TV app is free to download. It can be used on iOS (iOS 8.0 and higher) and Android (OS 4.2 and higher) smartphones and tablets, Apple TV (4th generation and higher) and Amazon Fire TV.

Once the app is installed, log in using your MyBell username and password.
Note: the Fibe TV app cannot be operated on a device that has been tampered with (i.e., rooting or jailbreaking). The app does not support screen mirroring and screen casting from smartphones and tablets.
Sharing the app on multiple devices
You can use the Fibe TV app on multiple devices at once. Simply install the app on each tablet or smartphone and enjoy.
Things to remember:
- You cannot watch the same show on two devices at the same time.
- You can watch content on the Fibe TV app with up to 5 devices per TV account. Devices are automatically added to your TV account the first time they are used to watch content through the app.
- You can remove a device at any time in the Account settings of the app.
Using the programming guide
When you open the Fibe TV app, the programming guide will appear, giving you access to a wide range of options.
- To watch live TV on your device, simply tap a channel logo.
- To see detailed program information, tap a program name to display the Episode info tab.
Other functions:
- View programming up to 14 days in advance
- Use filters to view specific channels in the guide, such as Subscribed, HD only, Favourites, English only or French only.
- Search the guide based on live TV, series and more.
- Set favourites for quick access to your favourite channels (note: favourites are saved on the device and are not synced with your receiver or other devices).
Please note that the following channels are not available on the Fibe TV app:
- Accuweather
- Bloomberg
- Comedy Time
- Good Times
- Juicebox
- TVO Kids
For Fibe TV customers
As a Fibe TV subscriber in Ontario and Québec you have access to up to 450 channels on the Fibe TV app. Watch content on your smartphone, tablet, computer, Amazon Fire TV Stick Basic Edition or Apple TV (4th generation).

Using the app as a remote
While at home, the app lets you use your device as a remote control to change channels, access your programming guide, search for programs, and send content to your TV. It also lets you watch, pause, fast forward and rewind live TV. After installing the app, you must pair your mobile device with your Fibe TV receiver to use your device as a remote.

Note:
- Each Fibe TV receiver can be paired with 10 devices for use as a remote.
- You will need to set up the app for each individual Fibe TV receiver you have.
- The volume and power functions for your television are not available on the Fibe TV app.

Once you’ve set up your iPhone to control your receiver, simply pair the Apple Watch to your iPhone to use your watch as a remote control.

Using the app to manage recordings
The Fibe TV app gives you remote PVR features, letting you manage your PVR recordings from anywhere.
When away from home, you must log in using your MyBell username and password.

Using the app to watch recordings
You can now watch your recordings with the Fibe TV app on your phone, tablet and Apple TV. Recordings are made available to your devices up to one hour after their completion and will remain available for 45 days.
Things to note:
- If a channel is only available on a receiver, so are the recordings from that channel.
- If you extend your recording past the scheduled end time for a program, you can only view the extended portion of the recording on your receiver.
- You can only watch manual recordings with a receiver
- If you swap your PVR, recordings from your old PVR will no longer be available on the app.
For Bell Satellite TV customers
As a Bell Satellite TV subscriber in Ontario and Québec, you have access to up to 225 channels on the Fibe TV app. Watch content on your smartphone, tablet, computer, Amazon Fire TV Stick Basic Edition or Apple TV (4th generation).

Managing data usage
You can use the Fibe TV app while connected to a mobile (cellular) or Wi-Fi network. Watching HD programming with the Fibe TV app uses approximately 1 GB per hour. SD content uses approximately 0.5 GB per hour.
At home
Watching live TV with the Fibe TV app on your home Wi-Fi will count towards your monthly Internet usage. Learn more about managing your Internet usage
Away from home
Watching TV with the Fibe TV app on a mobile network uses your mobile data. Standard data usage charges may apply.
You can limit how much data the application uses from the My account tab in the settings. You can also disable playback over mobile networks altogether.
Bell Internet and Bell Mobility customers can also keep track of their monthly usage in MyBell.
