Manage Bell usernames and passwords

Your Bell Internet services may use multiple logins. Below, you’ll find out what they’re for, where to find them and how to manage them.

  • Manage your Bell account, billing and services online in MyBell.
  • With MyBell, it’s easy to make changes and check information online – without waiting on the phone or waiting in line at the store.
  • When you click on the links below, you’ll be prompted to log in to MyBell. Once logged in, you’ll see personalized information as well as step-by-step instructions.
  • View bill, pay bill, sign up for pre-authorized payment, notify Bell of a payment, look up billing and payment history.
  • Temporary service suspensions

The administrator password is required when accessing your modem's settings. In the modem settings you can view devices that are connected, and change the Wi-Fi name and password. By default, the password is either the serial number located on the sticker on the back of the modem or “admin”, depending on your modem, but you can set your own.

To set or change the administrator password:

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Open your web browser and visit bell.ca/mymodem or 192.168.2.1.
  3. Click on Modem preferences.
    • For the Connection Hub, click on Account settings from the left menu
  4. If prompted, enter the administrator password.
    • Home Hub 2000, 3000, 4000, Giga Hub
      • The default password is the serial number located on the sticker on the back of the modem.
    • Home Hub 1000, 2Wire, Connection Hub
      • The default password is “admin”.
    • If you have forgotten your administrative password, a factory rest will be required.
  5. Follow the steps. Click Save to confirm the changes.

  • To identify yourself when contacting our Customer Service Centre or when logging on bell.ca for the first time
  • To access your Bell Internet personal web space
  • When you signed up for Bell Internet, a Bell Internet user ID (e.g., b1xxxxxx) was provided to you. The modem is configured to use this ID to connect to the Internet.
  • You can locate your Bell Internet user ID:
    • In the welcome kit you received when your Internet service was activated
    • On your bill
    • Within the Internet service section of MyBell
  • Your modem is preconfigured with your Internet access password. If you need to reset that password, you can do so anytime within MyBell
