How to share my LG smartphone Internet connection with a computer

Plug the USB cable into the phone and the computer.
Step 2 of 10
Touch Settings.
Step 3 of 10
Scroll to and touch Network & Internet.
Note: make sure Settings is in list view by touching the menu icon (3 dots), then List View.

Touch Tethering.
Step 5 of 10
Touch the USB tethering slider to turn it on.
Step 6 of 10
Touch OK.
Step 7 of 10
The phone is now tethered.
Step 8 of 10
On the computer, wait for the device drivers to install, then click Home network.
Step 9 of 10
Wait while the computer automatically applies the settings and connects to the network.
Step 10 of 10
Setup is complete. Click Close.
