Watching shows with your Fibe TV Voice Remote
- Press the Home button on your Fibe TV Voice Remote and select Settings.
- Select Device, then Menu and guide or My preferences.
- Scroll to and select Customize guide or Guide filters.
- Scroll to and select any channels you want to add or remove from your channel guide.
- If the checkbox is checked, the channel will appear in the guide.
- If you want all channels to appear, select Check all or select all channel types manually.
- When you're finished with your changes, scroll to and select Save.
To view your channel guide, press guide on your remote.
- Press the Home button on your Fibe TV Voice Remote and select Settings.
- Select Device, then Menu and guide or My preferences.
- Scroll to and select Genres or Guide filters.
- Scroll to and select a genre (e.g. Entertainment).
- Scroll to and select a channel/program or go back to the guide. The channel or program is displayed.
Creating a favourites list
Customize your Fibe TV service by creating a simplified program listing that contains only the channels you watch often.
- Press the Home button on your Fibe TV remote and select Settings.
- Scroll to My preferences.
- Select the Guide filters tile.
- Change the guide filter to Favourites.
- Exit this tile and select Manage Favourites to edit the channels in your Favourites list.
- Select a channel to add to your Favourites list. A heart icon will appear.
- In the guide, a heart icon appears next to your Favourite channels.
- Press the Home button on your Fibe TV Voice Remote and select Settings.
- Scroll to Accessibility or Accessibility & playback.
- Select Closed Captioning or Descriptive Video/Described Video to turn it on.
- To turn the setting off, select Closed Captioning or Descriptive Video/Described Video again.
Depending on your TV service, you may be able to turn on closed captioning while watching a program. Select OK to display the options and then select CC.
- Press the Home button on your Fibe TV Voice Remote and select Settings.
- Scroll to Audio and Visual.
- Select Audio.
- Scroll to Advanced Sound Settings.
- Click Select Formats.
- Select your desired surround sound setting.
Depending on your TV service, you may be able to switch to surround sound from stereo sound by going to Settings, then Accessibility & playback, then selecting the Surround Sound tile.
