If your channels are changing by themselves, the remote of a neighbour, or someone else close by, may be using the same address (frequency) as yours. Press and hold SAT until TV, VCR and AUX light up.

While SAT is flashing, enter any number from 1 to 16, as long as it's different from the one that is already in the remote address field.

After entering the number, press #. The SAT light will flash 3 times.

Press RECORD. The remote address field on the system info screen should now be the same as the code entered in step 5.
