How to sync Microsoft Outlook contacts with my Samsung Galaxy S III

  • On the computer, launch Microsoft Outlook.
  • Click File.
  • Click Open.
  • Click Import.
  • Click Export to a file.
  • Click Next.
  • Click Comma Separated Values (Windows).
  • Click Next.
  • Click Contacts.
  • Click Next.
  • Click Browse to choose where you would like to save the CSV file.
  • Click Next.
  • Click Finish.
  • Launch a web browser and navigate to Gmail (gmail.com).
  • Log in to your Gmail account.
  • Click Contacts.
  • Click More.
  • Click Import.
  • Select the CSV file with your contacts.
  • Click Import.
  • The contacts have been imported into Gmail.
  • On the Samsung Galaxy S III, touch Apps.
  • Scroll to and touch Settings.
  • Scroll to and touch Accounts and sync.
  • Touch your Google account.
  • Touch Sync now to synchronize the contacts.
