My closed captioning is not working on Bell Satellite TV (9400 HD PVR receiver)

9400 - HD PVR Receiver

Steps to follow: 8
  • On your Satellite TV remote, press MENU.
  • Scroll to and select Preferences.
  • Scroll to and select Closed Caption.
  • Scroll to and select Caption On/Off.
  • Scroll to and select CC is on.
  • Scroll to and select Done.

    Note: It can take a minute or two before closed captioning appears, and closed captioning does not appear during commercial breaks.
  • If closed captioning is not working, return to the Closed Caption menu, scroll to and select Reset CC Defaults.
  • Press Info, (CC) should be displayed at the end of the program description.

5. Scroll to and select CC is on.

6. Scroll to and select Done.
