Understanding TV technician service-related charges
If you require the services of a Bell TV technician, you may see charges on your bill.
Installation charges
Installation charges differ depending on whether you signed up for your service with or without a contract.
- Main fees include the first hour of technician time
- Installation includes up to three receivers
- Additional fees apply for each additional receiver installed
Fibe TV service call fees (ON/QC)
For Fibe TV, a charge applies for relocating equipment for you.
Satellite TV service call fees
Satellite TV installation and any service call come with a 90-day warranty that covers the replacement of any dish accessory.
After 90 days, charges apply when your Satellite TV service isn't working and a technician is required.
You may also see the following charges on your bill:
- A charge applies for relocating equipment for you
- Additional labour fees for Satellite service installation apply after three hours (billed in 15-minute increments)
- Additional mileage fees apply if you are located 100 km or more from the technician’s service area
