Using the Bell Streamer

The Bell Streamer is a Bell-operated Android TV device that lets you watch and enjoy your favourite content on the big screen.

What’s in the box

Setting up the Bell Streamer
  1. Power on your TV.
  2. Plug in the Bell Streamer to an electrical outlet using the USB cable and power adapter that are provided. Using your TV USB port may not provide sufficient power to the Streamer.
  3. Make sure TV is set to the correct HDMI input.
  4. Connect the Bell Streamer to your TV with the included HDMI cable.
  5. Make sure your Wi-Fi router is on.
  6. Follow on-screen setup instructions.

Setting up a Google account

To enjoy your Bell Streamer, you’ll need a Google account. If you have one, sign in with your Gmail or email address that’s associated with Google. If you don’t, you can sign up with Google

Bell TV customers

You can log in to the Streamer either automatically by connecting it to your Bell Wi-Fi or manually by entering your MyBell username and password.

Bell Internet customers

You need to be connected to your Bell Wi-Fi network. When on Bell Wi-Fi, you’re automatically logged in to the Streamer.

To make sure you’re up to date on all the latest features of your Bell Streamer, you can get the latest software updates.

Update the Fibe TV app

Get the latest Google system update:

  1. With the Bell Streamer remote, select Settings from the left navigation menu.
  2. Select the Settings tile under the Device section.
  3. Select Device preferences.
  4. Select About.
  5. Select System update.
