Help with the Bell Streamer remote

By default, the remote is paired to the Bell Streamer using Bluetooth. If the remote no longer responds, you may need to pair it again.

To pair the remote with the Bell Streamer:

  1. Ensure the Bell Streamer is powered on.
  2. Hold and press the button on the Bell Streamer for three seconds to initiate the pairing.
  3. Follow on-screen instructions.

If pairing is unsuccessful, please check the batteries to see if they need to be replaced.

Pairing your remote by IR allows you to control your TV’s volume using the Bell Streamer remote.

To pair your remote using IR:

  1. With your Bell Streamer remote, select Settings from the left navigation menu.
  2. Under the Device section, select Universal remote.
  3. Follow the IR remote pairing process on the screen.

Note: If the TV model is not auto-detected, you need to choose your TV manually from a list. If your TV does not appear in the list, IR is not supported.

To adjust your Bell Streamer’s volume when paired by IR:

  1. With your Bell Streamer remote, select Settings from the left navigation menu.
  2. Under the Device section select Volume control.
  3. Use the slider to adjust the volume to the desired level.

If you’re not able to resolve the issue following these steps, please contact us.

If the remote isn’t working, check to see if your batteries are installed correctly or need to be replaced.

The red light on the remote red light will blink several times when the batteries need to be replaced.

To check the status of the batteries:

  1. With your Bell Streamer remote, select Settings from the left navigation menu.
  2. Under the Device section select Settings.
  3. Go to Remotes and accessories.

If Bell Streamer remote appears, select it to see the battery status. If status is low, replace the batteries.

To install or replace the batteries:

  1. Grip the remote and push down on the arrow.
  2. Side the cover down.
  3. Replace and/or install the batteries respecting the polarity (+/-).
  4. Put the cover back on.

If the remote buttons are not working, Check that the remote is paired with the Bell Streamer (Bluetooth or infrared).
