Managing Fibe TV app settings on a mobile device

  1. Touch the Settings icon settings icon on the top right.
  2. Under App Settings, touch Video Quality.
  3. Touch the preferred streaming quality (e.g., Best).

  2. Touch Parental Controls.
  3. Touch Modify Modify icon to change the parental controls.
  4. Enter your PIN or your MyBell username and password, as applicable. The first time, you will need your MyBell username and password but you can set a PIN once you log in.
  5. In the left column, set parental controls that will apply to all devices, current and future, that are linked to your account.
  6. In the right column, set parental controls that will apply to the current device. This device-specific setting takes priority over the account-wide settings.
  7. Touch Save when you're finished.
  8. Close Parental controls by touching the X in the upper right corner.

You can install and log in to the Fibe TV app on multiple devices; however, you may only stream content on two devices at a time.

When you’re connected at home, there is no limit to how many devices can access the Fibe TV app. Away from home, you can access the app with up to five devices.

To remove a device from the app:

  1. Touch the Settings icon settings icon on the top right.
  2. Touch My Devices.
  3. Touch the device you want to remove.
  4. Touch Delete.
  5. Touch Delete to confirm that you want to remove the device.
  6. Enter your MyBell username and password or PIN to continue.
  7. The device has been removed.

Note

Once a device is removed, you must wait 30 days before you can add it back.

  1. Touch the Settings icon settings icon on the top right.
  2. Touch Parental Controls.
  3. Touch Modify Modify icon.
  4. To reset the PIN, touch Forgot your PIN?
  5. Enter your MyBell username and touch Modify.
  6. Enter the 4-digit PIN you want.
  7. Enter the PIN again.
  8. Your PIN has been changed. Touch x to continue.
  1. Touch the Settings icon settings icon on the top right.
  2. Scroll down to the Accessibility section.
  3. Select either Closed Captions or Descriptive Video to apply the desired setting.

    To remove the setting, select Closed Captions or Descriptive Video again.

Alternatively, while watching a show, touch CC in the bottom right to enable closed captions. Touch CC again to turn them off.

  1. Touch the Settings icon settings icon on the top right.
  2. Touch Favourites.
  3. Touch the channels you would like to set as favourites.
  4. The channels have now been set as favourites Favourites icon.
  5. You can remove channels that are already set as favourite, as well as adding new ones by touching the channel name.
  6. To view your favourite channels, within the guide touch Filters.
  7. Touch Favourites Favourites icon.
  8. All of your favourite channels will be listed in the guide.
  1. Touch the Settings icon settings icon on the top right.
  2. Touch My Receivers.
  3. Touch the Pair your receiver button.
  4. Touch Next.
  5. On your Fibe TV remote, press the Apps button.
  6. From the App launcher, select Pair a device.
  7. Scroll to and select Pair a device.
  8. Select Next.
  9. A 4-digit code will appear on your TV screen.
  10. On your smartphone or tablet, enter the 4-digit code and then touch Pair device.
  11. Give your smartphone or tablet a nickname and touch Next.
    Note: Up to 10 devices can be paired to a receiver. Naming your devices will help identify them should you need to remove one.
  12. Give your receiver a nickname and then touch Next.
    Note: Naming your receivers will help you identify which one you're controlling.

You'll receive a confirmation message on your device as well as on your TV screen.
