1. In Mac OS 10.4, click Mail.
2. Click Mail.
3. Click Preferences…
4. Click Accounts.
5. Click the + icon.
6. Click Account Type.
7. Select POP.
8. Enter a description for the account (e.g., My Email).
9. Click Full Name and enter your name.
10. Click Email Address and enter your Bell Mail address.
11. Click Continue.
12. If the email account details are automatically recognized, the account will be added.

13. For the incoming mail server, enter pophm.sympatico.ca.
14. For the username, enter your Bell Mail address.
15. For the password, enter your Bell Mail password.
16. Click Continue.

18. For the outgoing mail server, enter smtphm.sympatico.ca.
19. Select Use Authentication.
20. For the username, enter your Bell Mail address.
21. For the password, enter your Bell Mail password.
22. Click Continue.
23. Wait while the information is verified.
24. Click Continue.
25. Click Done.
26. Click the settings icon.
27. Click Edit "My Email"…

29. Ensure Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) is selected, then click OK.
30. Click Advanced.
31. Ensure Authentication is set to Password.
32. Bell Mail is now set up on your Mac.
