Configure browser settings
Create a profile for the Access Point
- On the standby screen, touch the Menu icon
- Touch the Settings icon
- Touch More
- Touch Connection
- Touch Access Points
- Touch New Profile
- Enter the following information:
Connection Title: Bell WAP Connection
Authentication: Medium
Username: <leave blank>
Password: <leave blank>
APN: pda.bell.ca - Touch Save
Create an Internet Profile
- Return to the Connection settings screen, and touch Internet Profiles
- Touch New Profile
- Enter the following information:
Profile Name: Bell WAP Profile
Use Proxy: ON
Proxy Address: web.wireless.bell.ca
Proxy Port Number: 80
Access Point: select 'Bell WAP Connection' (the Connection Title created above) - Touch Save
Create a Browser Account
- Return to Settings, and touch More
- Touch Application Settings
- Touch Browser
- Touch Accounts
- Touch New Account
- Enter the following information:
Account Name: Bell WAP Browser
Homepage: http://homepage
Internet Profile: select 'Bell WAP Profile' (the Internet Profile Name created above) - Touch Save
- You’ll see a message saying that the settings have been saved, and asking whether to activate the account. Select Yes.

Configure multimedia messaging service (MMS) settings
Create a profile for the Access Point
- On the standby screen, touch the Menu icon
- Touch the Settings icon
- Touch More
- Touch Connection
- Touch Access Points
- Touch New Profile
- Enter the following information:
Connection Title: Bell MMS Connection
Authentication: Medium
Username:
Password:
APN: pda.bell.ca - Touch Save
Create an Internet Profile
- Return to the Connection settings screen, and touch Internet Profiles
- Touch New Profile
- Enter the following information:
Profile Name: Bell MMS Profile Use Proxy: select ON
Proxy Address: web.wireless.bell.ca
Proxy Port Number: 80 Access Point: select 'Bell MMS Connection' (the Connection Title created above) - Touch Save
Create a Message Centre
- Return to Settings, and touch More
- Touch Application Settings
- Touch Messaging
- Touch Multimedia Message
- Touch Message Centre
- Touch New Message Centre
- Enter the following information:
Name: Bell MMS Connection
MMSC URL: http://mms.bell.ca/mms/wapenc
Internet Profile: select 'Bell MMS Profile' (the Internet Profile Name created above). - Touch Save
- In the New Message Centre box, touch the name that you created above to select it, then touch Activate
