To replace the battery:

1. Remove the sensor cover.
2. Remove the battery. Follow local battery disposal laws.
3. Insert the replacement battery, observing proper polarity.
4. Test the sensor using the panel.

Caution: Improper use of the battery in this device may cause a fire or chemical burns. Do not recharge, disassemble, heat to more than 100 °C (212 °F) or dispose of it in a fire. Use only the recommended batteries. The use of another battery may cause a fire or explosion.

Caution: Replace only with one new AA lithium battery. Observe proper polarity when installing the new battery. Installing the battery backwards may cause damage to the sensor. Dispose of used batteries according to the instructions of the manufacturer and/or local authorities.

1. Remove the alarm. Turn the alarm counterclockwise (about 15 degrees) and remove it from the base.
2. Slide the battery compartment cover away from the alarm to unsnap it and lift it off.
3. Remove the batteries and dispose of them properly.
4. Observing correct polarity, insert two new 3 V lithium batteries into the battery compartment and replace the cover.
5. Attach the alarm. Align the tab on the alarm with the arrow on the base, insert the alarm, and then turn it clockwise (about 15 degrees) until it snaps into place.
6. Test the system.

When the battery is low, a signal is sent to the control panel. To replace the battery:

1. Carefully remove the white rubber feet on the bottom of the flood detector.
2. Remove the three screws and open the housing. Replace the old battery with a new CR2450 lithium battery.
3. Replace the screws and rubber feet.

Because keyfobs are non-supervised devices, a low battery signal will only be received by the control panel when the device is within range of the receiver and a button is pressed (if the device is not in use, no low battery signal will be sent until a button is pressed). When the device is carried beyond the range of the receiver and/or is seldom used/tested, the battery could wholly deplete without a warning of the battery condition being sent to the panel. If the LED on the device appears dim or does not turn on when a button is pressed, it is a warning that the battery may be low or depleted and should be replaced.

To ensure proper functionality, test the device weekly and follow these simple steps to replace the battery when necessary:

1. With a key or small screwdriver, press the black tab located at the bottom of the remote and slide the chrome trim off.
2. Carefully separate the front and back piece of plastic to remove the battery.
3. Replace with a CR2032 battery ensuring the + side of the battery faces up.
4. Re-assemble the front and back piece and ensure they click together.
5. Ensure the notch in the chrome trim is aligned with the back of the plastic. It will only go on one way.

Use only the recommended replacement batteries: one (1) CR123A 3 V lithium battery (or equivalent).

To insert or replace the battery:

1. Unpack the passive infrared sensor and remove the screw from the bottom housing.
2. Lever off the cover.
3. Insert the battery. Always place the plus (+) sign on the battery facing the flat side of the compartment and the minus (‐) sign on the spring side.
4. Replace the passive infrared sensor cover.

WARNING: Failure to follow these instructions may cause injury or damage from heat generation, a rupture, leakage, explosion or fire. Always observe the polarity when inserting batteries into the compartment. Always replace the battery with one of the same or equivalent type. Never recharge or disassemble batteries. Never place batteries in fire or water. Always keep batteries out of the reach of young children. If a child swallows a battery, consult a doctor as soon as possible.

Always dispose of or recycle batteries in accordance with the hazardous material recovery and recycling regulations in your area. You may also need to comply with additional handling, recycling and disposal requirements in your city, province or country.

1. Insert a coin into the slot and turn the cover to open the transmitter.
2. Carefully remove the screw and lift the circuit. Be careful not to drop the screw onto the circuit.
3. Replace the old batteries with two CR2025 lithium batteries, with the plus (+) side facing down.
4. Repeat the steps in reverse order to reassemble the transmitter.

Warning: Improper battery installation may cause an explosion. Replace the batteries only with other batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended by the manufacturer.

Keep batteries out of the reach of young children. If a child swallows a battery, consult a doctor as soon as possible. Do not attempt to recharge batteries. Used batteries should be disposed of in accordance with the waste recovery and recycling regulations in your area.

Under normal conditions the battery can last up to 2 years. If the battery is low, the trouble notification will be indicated on the control panel’s screen.

Use only the recommended replacement batteries: 1 Panasonic Lithium CR123A battery or its equivalent.

Users need to perform a system test at least once a year.

1. Remove the top cover by inserting a small flathead screwdriver into the slot located on the bottom right corner and twist.
2. Place a small flathead screwdriver in the slot between the metal clip and battery and twist the screwdriver slightly while holding back one of the black plastic edges holding the battery.
3. Insert the replacement battery with the + sign facing out.
4. If the circuit board is removed, ensure the LED is aligned with its hole.
5. Verify programming and RF communication with the panel.
6. Replace the sensor cover.

Installing a new battery:

NOTE: Do not install battery until panel is in sensor programming mode.

1. Place panel in sensor programming mode.
2. Insert battery.
3. Close sensor.

Replacing a battery:

1. If battery has been previously installed, remove battery and dispose of it meeting requirements in your city, province or country.
2. Wait two (2) seconds.
3. Replace battery.
4. Close sensor.

1. To remove the sensor cover from the housing, insert a flathead screwdriver into the side slot and turn it 90°.
2. Insert a small flathead screwdriver into the slot between the metal clip and battery, then turn it slightly while holding one of the black plastic edges that holds the battery. Dispose of the battery.
3. IMPORTANT: Always dispose of or recycle batteries in accordance with the hazardous material recovery and recycling regulations in your area. You may also need to comply with additional handling, recycling and disposal requirements in your city, province or country.
4. Insert the replacement battery (CR2032) with the plus (+) sign facing up.
5. Verify the programming and RF communication with the panel.
6. Replace the sensor cover on the housing, making sure that the self-protection button is aligned with the corresponding tab.

1. Insert two CR123A batteries into the compartments.
2. Observe the polarity (+/-).
3. The green indicator will flash once when the batteries are installed.

To replace the sensor batteries, slide the front of the sensor up off the sensor-back. (No need to remove or un-mount entire sensor-back and mounting arm.) To maximize battery life, replace the sensor batteries with 2 AA 1.5v Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries.

Dispose of used batteries according to the battery manufacturer instructions and following local regulations.

To install or replace the battery:

1. Remove keypad from mounting plate.
2. Place a small flathead screwdriver in the slot between the metal clip and the battery and twist the screwdriver slightly while holding back one of the black plastic edges holding the battery.
3. Insert the replacement battery with the + sign facing out.
4. Verify programming and RF communication with the panel. 

WARNING: The polarity of the battery must be observed. Improper handling of lithium batteries may result in heat generation, explosion or fire, which may lead to personal injuries.

Replace only with the same or equivalent type of battery as recommended by the manufacturer. Batteries must not be recharged, disassembled or disposed of in fire.

Disposal of used batteries must be made in accordance with the waste recovery and recycling regulations in your area.

Keep away from small children. If batteries are swallowed, promptly see a doctor.

If a sensor battery is low, a low battery notification will be indicated on the control panel screen. When the 2GIG system indicates that the sensor has a low battery, replace the battery immediately. Use only the recommended replacement batteries: 2 Panasonic Lithium CR2032 or their equivalent. 

1. To remove the sensor cover, use your finger to press the tab. This disengages the clip holding the cover to the base.
2. Place a small flathead screwdriver in the slot between the metal clip and battery and push it out taking care not to scratch the battery terminal.
3. Insert the replacement battery with the + sign facing out.
4. Verify programming and RF communication with the control panel.
5. Replace the sensor cover to the base. 

• Risk of electric shock. Do not use in areas directly exposed to water.
• Do not use with a dimmer.
• Do not use in fully enclosed fixtures.
• High power factor

When the system alerts you that the battery is low, replace it with another CR2032 battery.

1. To remove the housing, insert a small flathead screwdriver into the slot and turn.
2. Insert the battery into the transmitter.
3. Slide the cover upward.

1. Remove the detector from its mounting base by twisting the detector counterclockwise. Remove and dispose of the battery according to local regulations.
2. To ensure proper power-down sequence, wait a minimum of 20 seconds before installing new battery.
3. Install a new 3-volt CR123A Panasonic Lithium battery in the battery compartment. Follow the polarity diagram inside the compartment! If the battery is incorrectly inserted, remove gently with a non-conductive tool and correctly reinsert.
4. Reinstall onto the mounting base by turning the detector clockwise.
5. After the power-up sequence the green LED should blink about once every 12 seconds to indicate normal operation. If the battery is not installed correctly, the detector will not operate and the battery may be damaged.
