What is Parental Control for my mobile phone?
Parental Control lets you easily restrict which websites your children can access from their mobile phones.
This feature lets you choose specific websites or categories of websites to be restricted on your child's mobile phones or smartphones (excluding BlackBerry), including:
- Gambling
- Drugs and alcohol
- Chat and dating
You can add Parental Control to the Bell Mobility rate plan on your child’s phone for a monthly fee.
Note: only mobile phones under the same account can be managed using Parental Control.Last Updated:22/07/2011

Setting up Parental Control
You can set up Parental Control online through My Bell.
- Log in to My Bell.
- Click My services at the top of the page. If applicable, select your mobile phone.
- Click the My plan & features tab.
- Scroll down to Manage feature settings. Click Change for the Parental Control feature.
- Select categories to allow, block or warn.
- Choose any specific websites to allow, block or warn.
- Click Submit.

Turning Parental Control on or off
Once you’ve set up Parental Control through My Bell, you’ll be able to turn it on or off using your mobile phone. Follow these steps:
- Launch Mobile Browser.
- Select the Personalization option.
- Select Parental Control.
- Enter the number of the mobile phone that subscribes to the service and then enter the 6-digit PIN that you set up in My Bell.
- Select the mobile number for which you want to change the Parental Control setting.
- Select either Activate or Deactivate to switch the service on or off.
- Select Done.
