Duplicate contacts on the McAfee website
Newly backed-up contacts might temporarily create duplicates on the McAfee® Mobile Security website if the same contacts already exist on the server.
If this happens, simply wait a few minutes for the site to update. This will allow Mobile Security to automatically remove the duplicate contacts (i.e., those with the same name and email address).
After the duplicates have been removed, you can restore contacts to your device.
Duplicate contacts on your mobile device
After restoring data to your mobile device from a backup, you will get duplicate contacts on your mobile device if the same contact(s) already exist on the device.
If this happens, you must manually delete the duplicates from the device.
