How to activate an additional Bell Satellite TV receiver

Contact us

You can activate up to five (5) additional Bell Satellite TV receivers on your account at no extra cost if they're installed in your home. You'll find more details in the customer agreement.

To activate an additional receiver, you have two self-serve options.

Note: Before you begin, make sure you have your SmartCard, receiver and personal identification (PIN) numbers handy. You can find these numbers easily:

  1. Turn on your new receiver and press MENU on your remote.
  2. Select System Setup (option 6).
  3. Select Installation (1), then System Info (3).
  4. On the System Info screen, the SmartCard number is the one that starts with S and the receiver number is the one that starts with R.

a) Activate your receiver online

Log in to My Bell and follow the on-screen instructions to activate your receiver.
