What is CTV GO?
CTV GO is an app developed by Bell Media that gives Bell TV customers complimentary access to CTV content on demand through computers and iOS devices.
The app and content is available at no charge. However, watching CTV GO on your computer or mobile device will count toward your monthly Internet/mobile data usage.
Note: The app gives you access to content from your local CTV station, based on the TV subscription you have at home.
How to use CTV GO on my phone or tablet
CTV GO is available on the iPhone 3GS and above, iPod touch (third generation and above), iPad and iPad Mini, running iOS 5.0 or higher, and on Android devices running version 4.03 and higher.
Downloading CTV GO to your device
- Apple users: Download the app from iTunes.
- Android: Download the app from Google Play.
Alternately,
- From the home screen on your iOS/Android device, select the App Store/Google Play icon.
- Select Search and type in "CTV GO".
- Select the CTV GO application.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to download the application.
Using the CTV GO app
- Start the CTV GO app.
- Browse the content CTV has to offer.
- Choose what you want to watch.
- When prompted or when signing in, select BELL as your TV service provider.
- Log in using your MyBell username and password. (If you're not registered for MyBell, take a few moments to register now).
- Choose a program and start watching.
How to use CTV GO on my computer
Computer system requirements
On Windows, CTV GO requires at least Windows XP with Service Pack 2. On a Mac, it requires Mac OS 10.4.8 or higher.
An up-to-date Flash plug-in is also needed to stream video content.
Using CTV GO on my computer
To get started with CTV GO on your computer:
- Visit CTV.ca.
- When prompted or when signing in, select Bell as your TV service provider.
- Log in using your MyBell username and password (the same username and password you use to access your bill on bell.ca. If you're not registered for MyBell, take a few moments to register now).
Please note: If you cannot access the app, it may mean that your Bell TV service has not been linked to your MyBell profile. Learn how to link your Bell TV account to your MyBell profile.
