2. Wait for the message 852 to appear on the screen and then select Yes to manage the content.

3. Scroll to and select External Hard Drive.

4. Select Manage Recording.

5. Select a recording to restore.

6. Scroll to and select Event Mgmt.

7. Select Restore.

8. The receiver starts transferring your recordings to the external hard drive. If you want to watch TV while the transfer is in progress, simply select VIEW TV.

9. Once the transfer is complete, select Yes to view restored recordings.
