How to update the verbal passcode on my Bell Smart Home services

How do I update my verbal passcode?

With Bell Smart Home interactive Services, you can update your verbal passcode from our website or mobile app.

If you do not have Bell Smart Home interactive services, please contact us at 1 800 267-2001 to update your verbal passcode.

To update your verbal passcode from a computer:

  1. Visit bell.ca/Smart-Home
  2. Click Account login.
  3. Select Bell Smart Home.
  4. Enter your login name and password and click Log in.
  5. On the left menu, click the Settings button.
  6. Click Monitoring station.
  7. Under the Passcode section, enter your secret passcode and confirm it.
  8. Read the disclaimer and check off the box.
  9. Click UPDATE.

To update your verbal passcode from the app:

  1. Open the Bell Smart Home app.
  2. Tap the menu button on the top left of the screen (3 horizontal lines).
  3. Tap Monitoring settings.
  4. Tap Update verbal passcode..
  5. Enter the new verbal passcode and confirm it.
  6. Tap the check mark on the top right.
