How to update the Bell Smart Home emergency contact list

With Bell Smart Home interactive services, you can update your emergency contact list from our website or mobile app.

If you do not have Bell Smart Home interactive services, please contact us at 1 800 267-2001 to update your emergency contact list.

To update your emergency contact list from a computer:

  1. Visit bell.ca/Smart-Home
  2. Click Account login.
  3. Select Bell Smart Home.
  4. Enter your login name and password and click Log in.
  5. On the left menu, click the Settings button.
  6. Click Monitoring station.
  7. Scroll down to Emergency contacts.
  8. Edit the contact information:
    • To add a contact, click Add, and then enter the name and phone number. The passcode is optional.
    • To edit an existing contact, simply change the corresponding information.
    • To remove a contact, click the garbage can icon.
  9. Read the disclaimer and check off the box.
  10. Click UPDATE.

To update your emergency contact list from the app:

  1. Open the Bell Smart Home app.
  2. Tap the menu button on the top left of the screen (3 horizontal lines).
  3. Tap Monitoring settings.
  4. Tap Emergency contacts.
  5. Edit the contact information:
    • To add an emergency contact:
    • Tap the + person symbol on the bottom right.
    • Tap Add manually.
    • Enter the name and phone number.
    • Tap the check mark on the top right.
    • To edit an existing contact, simply select the existing contact and tap the pencil icon to edit.
    • To remove an emergency contact, select the existing contact then tap the garbage can icon on the top right.
  6. Tap YES to confirm.
