Learning about and managing my ZTE tablet

If your ZTE tablet becomes unresponsive or doesn’t perform as expected, you can perform a hard reset to return it to its factory default state.

  1. Before resetting your tablet, turn it off and then on again. This may solve the problem. If your tablet does not turn on, follow these steps to perform a hard reset.
  2. Press and hold the Volume up and Power buttons until the hard reset menu appears on the screen.
  3. Scroll to wipe data/factory reset by pressing the Volume down button.
  4. Press the Power button.
  5. Scroll to Yes by pressing the Volume down button.
  6. Press the Power button.
  7. The tablet will now wipe all contents.
  8. Press the Power button.
  9. The tablet will now reboot to the initial setup screen.

Warning: All your data, downloaded apps and settings will be erased during the reset. Ensure that photos, music, documents and any other data that you wish to keep are backed up elsewhere than on the device itself.

  1. Touch apps.
  2. Touch Settings.
  3. Scroll to Storage. The storage used is displayed. To view more information, touch Storage.
  4. The storage details are displayed.
  1. Locate the SIM card slot on your device
  2. Insert the SIM removal tool (included in the box the phone came in) and push to eject the SIM/memory card tray.
  3. Remove the SIM card tray.
  4. Insert the SIM card into the SIM card tray.
  5. Re-insert the SIM card tray and push until it clicks into place.
Note: The SIM card slot location may differ depending on your model.
  1. Swipe right to access apps.
  2. Touch Settings.
  3. Touch About tablet.
  4. Touch Status.
  5. Scroll down to view your phone number.
