How to perform a hard reset when my Sonim XP8 is unresponsive

Press and hold the Volume up and Power buttons until the Sonim logo appears, then release only the Power button whilst keeping Volume up button held.

Scroll to wipe data/factory reset by pressing the Volume down button.

  3. When you see the Android robot release the Volume up button, press and hold the Power button, then press the Volume up button.
  4. Scroll to wipe data/factory reset by pressing the Volume down button.
  5. Press the Power button.
  6. Scroll to Yes pressing the Volume down button.
  7. Press the Power button.
  8. The phone will now wipe all contents.
  9. Press the Power button.
  10. The phone will now reboot to the initial setup screen.
