How to manage call, text and email settings on my Samsung smartphone

  1. Swipe up or down to view the apps.
  2. Touch Phone.
  3. Touch the Menu icon.

  4. Touch Settings.
  5. Scroll to and touch More settings or Supplementary services.
  6. Touch Show my caller ID.

  8. The caller ID option has been changed.

  2. Touch Messages.
  3. Touch the Compose icon.

  4. Enter the recipientʼs mobile phone number or select someone from your contacts list.
  5. Touch START.
  6. Touch Enter message.
  7. Enter your message.
  8. Touch the Send icon to send the text message or touch the + or > icon to make this a multimedia message.

  9. Touch a photo to attach it.
  10. Touch the Send icon.
  11. The message has been sent.

  5. Scroll to and touch Personal (IMAP).

  6. Enter your Bell email address.
  7. Touch MANUAL SETUP.
  8. Touch Personal (IMAP).
  9. Enter your Bell email password.
  10. Touch NEXT.
  11. If the email account details are automatically recognized, the account will be added. Otherwise, follow the steps below to set up the account manually.
  12. Touch Server.

  13. Enter imap.bell.net as the IMAP server name.
  14. Touch NEXT.

  15. Touch SMTP server.
  16. Enter smtphm.sympatico.ca as the SMTP server name.

  18. Wait while the email settings are verified.
  19. Change the account options if desired and touch NEXT.
  20. Change the account name and your name if desired and touch NEXT.
  21. Your email account has been added.

  4. Touch Settings.
  5. Touch Block/Blocked numbers.

  6. To add a phone number to the block list: enter the phone number.
  7. Touch the + icon.
  8. The phone number has been added.
  9. To remove a phone number from the block list: touch the - icon next to the phone number.

  7. Touch the desired call forwarding option (e.g., Forward when busy).
  8. Enter the phone number.
  9. Touch ENABLE.
  10. Call forwarding has been set up. To disable call forwarding, touch the desired call forwarding option.
  11. Touch DISABLE.
  12. Call forwarding has been disabled.
