How to replace your modem

The following instructions will walk you through the steps to replace your modem with a new one.

  1. Disconnect all cables from your current modem and plug the fibre cable into the FIBRE port on the back of the modem.
  2. If you prefer a wired connection, connect one end of the Ethernet cable to any yellow Ethernet port on the back of the modem. Then, connect the other end of that Ethernet cable into your computerʼs Ethernet port.
  3. Connect one end of the power supply to the modem and the other end into a wall outlet.
  4. Wait until all three LED lights on the modem are the same colour and Fibe Internet: Connected is displayed.

The following instructions will walk you through the steps to replace your modem with a new one.

  1. Disconnect all cables from your current modem and connect one end of the phone cable into the DSL port on the back of the new modem.
  2. If you prefer a wired connection, connect one end of the Ethernet cable to any Ethernet port on the back of the modem. Then, connect the other end of that Ethernet cable into your computerʼs Ethernet port.
  3. Connect one end of the power supply to the modem and the other end into a surge-protected power bar (not included).
  4. Wait until all three LED lights on the modem are white and Fibe Internet: Connected is displayed.

The following instructions will walk you through the steps to replace your modem with a new one.

  1. Disconnect all cables from your current modem and connect one end of the phone cable into the DSL port on the back of the new modem.
  2. If you prefer a wired connection, connect one end of the Ethernet cable to any Ethernet port on the back of the modem. Then, connect the other end of that Ethernet cable into your computerʼs Ethernet port.
  3. Connect one end of the power supply to the modem and the other end into a surge-protected power bar (not included).
  4. Wait until the WAN and INTERNET lights turn blue.
