How to set up Bell Mail in Outlook 2013

Steps to follow: 28
  • In Outlook 2013 click FILE.
  • Click Add Account.
  • Enter your name.
  • Click E-mail Address and enter your email address.
  • Click Password and enter the password for your email account.
  • Re-enter your password.
  • Select Manually configure server settings or additional server types.
  • Click Next.
  • Click POP or IMAP.
  • Click Next.
  • For the incoming mail server, enter pophm.sympatico.ca.
  • For the outgoing mail server, enter smtphm.sympatico.ca.
  • For the user name, enter your Bell Mail address.
  • For the password, enter your Bell Mail password.
  • Click More Settings…
  • Click Outgoing Server.
  • Select My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.
  • Click Advanced.
  • Select This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL).
  • Click Use the following type of encrypted connection.
  • Select TLS.
  • Under Server Timeouts, move the slider to 10 minutes.
  • Select Leave a copy of messages on the server.
  • Click OK.
  • Click Next.
  • Wait while the information is verified.
  • Click Close.
  • The email account has been added. Click Finish.
