Setting up your Fibe TV Box and wireless transmitter

Before following the steps below, please ensure your Bell modem is set up and turned on.

For the best experience, use the provided Bell-branded HDMI cable.

  1. Plug the HDMI cable into the Fibe TV Box.
  2. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to your TV.
  3. Connect the power supply to the Fibe TV Box.
  4. Plug the power supply into a power outlet.
  5. Using your TV remote, not the Fibe TV Voice Remote, choose the correct HDMI input on your TV.
  6. Wait for instructions to appear on your TV and follow the steps. Repeat for any additional TVs. This may take up to 5 minutes per TV.

If you’re using a Home Hub 2000 or Connection Hub, you may be required to install a wireless transmitter (VAP) in order to use your Fibe TV service.

Before following the steps below, please ensure your Bell modem is set up and turned on.

  1. Install the VAP 3400
    1. Connect the wireless transmitter to the yellow port on your Home Hub 2000 or Connection Hub modem using an Ethernet cable.
    2. Connect the wireless transmitter to a power outlet and turn it on.
    3. Wait at least 4 minutes before moving to the next step.
  2. Install the Fibe TV Box
    1. Connect the Fibe TV Box to a 4K compatible port on your TV using the HDMI cable. See your TV manufacturer’s manual for help finding the 4K compatible port.
    2. Connect the Fibe TV Box to a power outlet.
    3. Turn on your TV and select the appropriate HDMI input.
    4. Wait for instructions to appear on your TV and follow the installation steps. This could take a few minutes.
  3. Pair the Fibe TV Box with the VAP 3400
    1. Press the wireless transmitter’s WPS button. The green light will start blinking.
    2. Within 2 minutes, point the Fibe TV Voice Remote at your Fibe TV Box and press the OK button. The Fibe TV Box will connect and restart. This could take a few minutes.
    3. Wait for instructions to appear on your TV and follow the steps to activate the Fibe TV Box. This could take a few minutes.

Note: depending on your service, a wireless transmitter (VAP) may not be applicable. In that case, consider using Bell Wi-Fi pods to enhance Wi-Fi coverage in your home.

  1. Press the Home button on your Fibe TV Voice Remote and select Settings.
  2. Scroll to Device and select On-screen language. Or, select Device, then Device Preferences, then Language.
  3. Select the language you want to use.
  1. Press the Home button on your Fibe TV Voice Remote and select Settings.
  2. Scroll to Audio and visual or Accessibility & playback.
  3. Select TV resolution or Streaming quality.
  4. Select the desired resolution for your TV (we recommend Auto).
