Using Fibe TV Cloud PVR

Fibe TV has evolved to a cloud-based storage system for all your recordings. It lets you store up to 320 hours of recordings, regardless of resolution, for up to 60 days.

You’ll get a reminder 15 days before a recording expires.

Once you reach 320 hours, your recordings will start to be deleted, beginning with the oldest.

Depending on your TV service, you may be able to use voice commands to set recordings.

Recording a program that’s currently playing

  1. While watching a show, press the Record button on your remote.
  2. If it’s a movie or single show, the recording starts automatically and a confirmation message appears. Or, depending on your TV service, you may be prompted to select recording options.

Scheduling a recording

You can record up to ten programs simultaneously and watch them on any of your screens, at any time. You can keep up to 320 hours of recordings, which will be saved for 60 days.

  1. In the Guide, select the program you want to record and press the Record button on your remote.
  2. If it’s a movie or single show, the recording is scheduled automatically and a confirmation message appears. Or, depending on your TV service, you may be prompted to select recording options.

    Depending on your TV service, you may be able to record an unlimited number of programs simultaneously.

Recording a series

  1. Select a program from the guide and press the Record button on your remote twice.

    Or

    Select the program from the guide and scroll down to Record Series, then select Record.
  2. To adjust recording settings, press the Home button to open up the main menu.
  3. Scroll to Recordings.
  4. Select the series you want to adjust the settings for.
  5. Scroll to Record Series.

Viewing recordings

  1. Press the Home button on your Fibe TV Voice Remote and select Recordings, or press the PVR button on your remote.
  2. You can filter the view based on date, title, scheduled and series.

Playing recordings

  1. Press the Home button on your Fibe TV Voice Remote and select Recordings, or press the PVR button on your remote.
  2. Choose the recording you want and select Play.
  3. If there are multiple episodes for a series, select the series to bring up all the recordings for that series.

  2. Choose the recording you want to delete.
  3. Scroll to Erase or Delete Recording.
  4. Select Erase or Delete in the pop-up message to confirm.

  2. Scroll right to Check PVR Space or Storage.
  3. Press OK to see how much space is being used

If the Recordings are not available error message appears when you try to watch a recording, you may have reached the maximum amount of paused or recorded content allowed on the Cloud PVR, or the connection between the receiver and PVR may have been momentarily lost.

To troubleshoot the problem:
  • If you've paused live TV on one of your TVs, try changing the channel.
  • Try restarting your Fibe TV Box by clicking the multi-function side button and scrolling to Restart.
