Using On Demand
The Bell Fibe TV On Demand service lets you stream movies, TV shows and other content, whenever you want.
Included in your TV packageMany channels such as Crave make their programming available on demand. If you subscribe to that channel, you can access it on demand at no extra charge.
One-time rentals and special eventsFor some On Demand content, such as movie rentals, you will be charged a one-time fee. This content will be available for viewing for 24 to 48 hours after you have ordered it.
Own with Fibe
You can purchase movies and watch them on demand as often as you like, for as long as you are a Fibe TV or Fibe TV app customer.
On your Fibe TV receiver:
- With your Bell remote, press the On Demand button.
- Using the arrows, scroll to a category.
- Once you find a desired title, press Select to choose the content.
- Press Select to rent, play or add to your watch list.
- You can enjoy your rental on the Fibe TV receiver and/or Fibe TV app.
On the Fibe TV app:
*Web, Android, Android TV and Bell Streamer only
- Once you open the Fibe TV app or go to tv.bell.ca using Web, go to the On Demand section.
- Select your desired title.
- You can rent, play or add the title to your watch list.
- Enjoy your rental on the Fibe TV app and/or Fibe TV receiver.
You can purchase movies and watch them on demand as often as you like, for as long as you are a Fibe TV customer.
These titles may be made available three to four weeks before they are available to rent on demand or to purchase in store.
Note: Purchasing a movie will not impact your PVR storage.
On your Fibe TV receiver:- With your Bell remote, press the on demand button
- Using the arrows, scroll and select the Movies category.
- Find Own with Bell
- Press select, and follow the on-screen prompts to purchase once you have selected a movie.
Once purchased, you can access your content under Rented in the On Demand menu of your Fibe TV service.
On the Fibe TV app
*Web, Android, Android TV and Bell Streamer only
- Once you open the Fibe TV app or go to tv.bell.ca using Web, go to the On Demand section.
- Go to the Rentals tab and find content in the Own with Bell row.
- You can rent, play or add the title to your watch list.
Access your Own with Bell movie
Once purchased, you can access your content under My List in the On Demand section or the My List row on the homepage.
Using search
- With your Bell remote, press the On Demand button.
- Scroll to and select Search.
- Type the program title to search.
- One you find the desired title, scroll to it press Select.
- Press Select to rent, play or add the title to your watch list.
Prevent accidental rentals or purchases by requiring a parental control PIN.
- With your Bell remote, press the Menu button.
- Select Settings ➔ Parental controls ➔ Rental locking.
- Enter a 4-digit PIN.
- Confirm your PIN.
- Select Lock renting.
- Scroll to and select Save.
To watch in 1080p you’ll need:
- A Fibe TV receiver
- A 1080p compatible TV
- An HDMI cable connecting your receiver to your TV
Content will be displayed in a lower HD resolution if these requirements are not met.
On the Fibe TV app
To watch rentals or Own with Bell content in 4K, you’ll need:
- A Bell Streamer
- A compatible 4K TV
- A sustained Internet speed of 20 Mbps or higher
- A high-speed HDMI cable connecting your Bell Streamer to your TV
- Streaming quality set to Ultimate
