Learning about and managing my TCL smartphone

If your TCL smartphone becomes unresponsive or doesnʼt perform as expected, you can perform a hard reset to return it to the factory default state.
  1. Before resetting your phone, turn it off and then on again. This may solve the problem. If your phone doesnʼt turn on, follow these steps to perform a hard reset.
  2. Press and hold the Volume up and Power buttons until the TCL logo appears.
  3. Release the Power button.
  4. When Recovery Mode is displayed, release the Volume up button.
  5. Scroll to wipe data/factory reset by pressing the Volume down button.
  6. Press the Power button.
  7. Scroll to Yes by pressing the Volume down button.
  8. Press the Power button.
  9. The phone will now wipe all contents.
  10. Press the Power button.
  11. The phone will now reboot to the initial setup screen.
Warning: all of your data, downloaded apps and settings will be erased during the reset.

  2. Touch Storage.
  3. The storage details are displayed.

  3. Touch About phone.
  4. Touch Status.
  5. Touch SIM status.
  6. The phone number is displayed.
  1. Locate the SIM card slot on your device
  2. Insert the SIM removal tool (included in the box the phone came in) and push to eject the SIM/memory card tray.
  3. Remove the SIM card tray.
  4. Insert the SIM card into the SIM card tray.
  5. Re-insert the SIM card tray and push until it clicks into place.
Note: The SIM card slot location may differ depending on your model.
