Transfer your Bell Mobility service to a new device
If you want to replace a lost, stolen or defective SIM card, or need to transfer your Bell Mobility service to another device, you can do this easily through the self-serve methods below without visiting a Bell store.
Use MyBell to transfer to a new SIM card or eSIM
If you are transferring to a SIM card, take note of the 20-digit number printed on the new card before you begin.
- Transfer your service to another device now. You’ll be asked to log in to MyBell before you can complete the next steps.
- Follow the onscreen instructions. When prompted, enter your IMEI1 number for a SIM card transfer or IMEI2 number for an eSIM transfer.
- For eSIM, set up your eSIM as prompted on your device. For a SIM card, insert the new card into your device.
Use eSIM Quick Transfer on iPhone or iPad
If both of your devices are Apple devices running iOS 17.0 or above, you can easily transfer your Bell Mobility service to an eSIM on the newer device using Apple’s eSIM Quick Transfer.
Before you start, turn on Bluetooth on both devices and make sure your new device is connected to Wi-Fi or the mobile network.
- On your new Apple device, go to Settings > Cellular > Add eSIM.
- Touch Transfer from nearby iPhone (or iPad) and a verification code will be displayed.
- On your old device, enter the verification code.
- Follow the prompts on both devices to confirm the transfer and set up the eSIM.
Use eSIM Quick Transfer on Samsung Galaxy devices
If both of your devices are Samsung Galaxy devices running Android 14 and One UI 6.1 or above, you can easily transfer your Bell Mobility service to an eSIM on the newer device using Samsung’s eSIM Quick Transfer.
Before you start:
- Turn on Bluetooth on both devices
- Connect your new device to Wi-Fi (or the mobile network)
- Make sure your old device has password protection set up and has a secure screen lock
To use Quick Transfer:
- On the new device, go to Settings > Connections > SIM Manager.
- Select Add eSIM > Transfer SIM from another device.
- You’ll be prompted to unlock your old device and place it next to the new device.
- Select Transfer on the old device and enter the verification code displayed on the new device.
- Select the SIM you want to transfer to on the new device, and confirm that on the old device.
- Follow the onscreen prompts to complete the transfer process and set up your eSIM.
Use eSIM Quick Transfer on Google Pixel
If both of your devices are Google Pixel 8 series or later, you can easily transfer your Bell Mobility service to an eSIM on the newer device using Android’s eSIM Quick Transfer.
Before you start:
- Turn on Bluetooth on both devices
- Connect your new device to Wi-Fi (or the mobile network)
- Make sure your old device has password protection set up and has a secure screen lock
To use Quick Transfer:
- On the newer device, go to Settings > Networks & Internet > SIMs.
- Select Transfer a SIM from another device.
- Unlock the older device then scan the QR code as seen on the newer device.
- Select Transfer on the older device and follow the prompts.
Once done, you’ll see a screen confirming that your Bell SIM has been transferred
