How to set up Bell Mail in Outlook 2007

Steps to follow: 25
  • In Outlook 2007 click Tools.
  • Click Account Settings…
  • Click New…
  • Enter your name.
  • Click E-mail Address and enter your email address.
  • Click Password and enter the password for your email account.
  • Re-enter your password.
  • Select Manually configure server settings or additional server types.
  • Click Next.
  • Click Next.
  • For the incoming mail server, enter pophm.sympatico.ca.
  • For the outgoing mail server, enter smtphm.sympatico.ca.
  • Click User Name and enter the user name for your account.
  • Click Password and enter the password for your email account.
  • Click More Settings…
  • Click Outgoing Server.
  • Select My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.
  • Click Advanced.
  • Click This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL).
  • Click Use the following type of encrypted connection.
  • Select TLS.
  • Under Server Timeouts, move the slider to 10 minutes.
  • Click OK.
  • Click Next.
  • The email account has been added, click Finish.

1. In Outlook 2007 click Tools.
