How to replace your Home Hub 4000/Giga Hub modem

Step 1 of 4

Disconnect all cables from your current modem and plug the fibre into the FIBRE port on the back of the modem.

Click on Fibe Internet. If you prefer a wired connection, connect one end of the Ethernet cable to any Ethernet port on the back of the modem. Then, connect the other end of that Ethernet cable into your computerʼs Ethernet port.

Step 2 of 4

If you prefer a wired connection, connect one end of the Ethernet cable to any yellow Ethernet port on the back of the modem. Then, connect the other end of that Ethernet cable into your computerʼs Ethernet port.

If you prefer a wired connection, connect one end of the Ethernet cable to any Ethernet port on the back of the modem. Then, connect the other end of that Ethernet cable into your computerʼs Ethernet port. If you prefer a wired connection, connect one end of the Ethernet cable to any Ethernet port on the back of the modem. Then, connect the other end of that Ethernet cable into your computerʼs Ethernet port. If you prefer a wired connection, connect one end of the Ethernet cable to any Ethernet port on the back of the modem. Then, connect the other end of that Ethernet cable into your computerʼs Ethernet port. If you prefer a wired connection, connect one end of the Ethernet cable to any Ethernet port on the back of the modem. Then, connect the other end of that Ethernet cable into your computerʼs Ethernet port. If you prefer a wired connection, connect one end of the Ethernet cable to any Ethernet port on the back of the modem. Then, connect the other end of that Ethernet cable into your computerʼs Ethernet port.

Step 3 of 4

Connect one end of the power supply to the modem and the other end into a wall outlet.

Connect one end of the power supply to the modem and the other end into a surge-protected power bar (not included). Connect one end of the power supply to the modem and the other end into a surge-protected power bar (not included). If you prefer a wired connection, connect one end of the Ethernet cable to any Ethernet port on the back of the modem. Then, connect the other end of that Ethernet cable into your computerʼs Ethernet port. Connect one end of the power supply to the modem and the other end into a surge-protected power bar (not included). Connect one end of the power supply to the modem and the other end into a surge-protected power bar (not included).

Step 4 of 4

Wait until all 3 LED lights on the modem are white and Fibe Internet: Connected is displayed.

Click on Fibe Internet.
  1. Disconnect all cables from your current modem and plug the fibre into the FIBRE port on the back of the modem.
  2. If you prefer a wired connection, connect one end of the Ethernet cable to any yellow Ethernet port on the back of the modem. Then, connect the other end of that Ethernet cable into your computerʼs Ethernet port.
  3. Connect one end of the power supply to the modem and the other end into a wall outlet.
  4. Wait until all 3 LED lights on the modem are white and Fibe Internet: Connected is displayed.
