As a Bell Satellite or Bell Fibe TV customer, the upcoming switch to an all digital signal by Canadian local television stations will not affect you.
Every television in your home that is connected to a Bell TV receiver is already receiving a 100% digital signal, so there is nothing you need to do to prepare.
Should you have any televisions in your home, not connected to the Bell TV service and still receiving signals through an analog broadcast (i.e. rooftop antenna or "rabbit ears"), then you can take one of the following actions:
- Rent or buy a new receiver to connect the television set to your Bell TV service.
- Purchase a digital TV converter to continue receiving over-the-air digital TV signals.
