Possible reasons why
- You may be tuned into the wrong channel.
- You may be using the wrong remote for the receiver.
What to do
- Change your batteries.
- Look at the back of your remote or use the checklist below to verify your Bell Satellite TV channel setting. Note: This information can also be found in page 2 of your Bell TV for Condos User Guide.
- Each TV in your home is programmed to a different channel. For example, the TV in your living room would be on Channel 3, your second TV would be on Channel 8, and if you had a third TV it would be set on Channel 13. Check to see if you are tuned into the right channel.
In the room where the set-box is located, your TV and VCR channel should both be set to Channel 3 or 4.
For each additional location, your TV and VCR should be set to either 8, 12 or 13 – depending on the area where you live. Refer to the following guide to set yours correctly.
| Toronto Area | Ottawa Area | Montreal Area | |
| TV1 and VCR1 | 3 or 4 | 3 | 3 |
| TV2 and VCR2 | 8 | 8 | 8 |
| TV3 and VCR3 | 13 | 12 | 13 |
Use the original TV remote (or the controls on your TV) to tune your TV to the correct channel.
