How to use the electronic programming guide (EPG) on my Bell TV for Condos service

Accessing your electronic programming guide (EPG)

1. Turn on your television and Bell Satellite TV receiver.
2. Press GUIDE on your remote and scroll through the EPG.
3. Then press SELECT to get the program you want.

The MENU button allows you to:

1. Create your own Favourites list of channels.
2. Search by categories such as sports, movies and family/kids by selecting THEMES.

Customizing your electronic programming guide (EPG)

1. With  SELECT CHANNEL button on your Bell Satellite TV remote you can add or remove channels displayed in the line up.
2. Channel Order lets you determine how the channels you subscribe to appear on your EPG.
3. With Favourite Channel you can create a list of your favourite channels and browse only these when you press FAV.

Selecting channels

1. Press MENU on your Bell Satellite TV remote.
2. Select Set up the Channels.
3. Press Select Channels.
4. Scroll to the channels you wish to remove from your line up and press SELECT. A no-access image will appear.
5. To replace a channel you’ve removed, scroll to it and press SELECT.
6. To reset all channels, scroll to Reset (left side of screen), press SELECT, and then OK.

Changing channel order

1. Press MENU.
2. Select Set up the Channels.
3. Select Change Channel Order.
4. Scroll to the channels you wish to move within your line up and press SELECT.
5. A 4-arrow symbol will appear next to the channel. Scroll to the desired position in the channel line up and press SELECT.
6. To move more channels, repeat Steps 4 and 5.
7. To reset all channels scroll to Reset (left side of screen), press SELECT, then OK.

Creating a Personal Favourites line up

1. Press MENU.
2. Select Set up the Channels.
3. Select Favourites Channels.
4. Scroll to the channels you want as favourites and press SELECT. A star (*) symbol will appear.
5. To remove a channel from your Favourites list, scroll to it and press SELECT.
6. To reset channels scroll to Reset (left side of screen), press Select, then OK.

Adding channels to your Favourites list with the electronic programming guide (EPG)

1. Press GUIDE on your remote.
2. Scroll to the channel you wish to add to your Favourites and press INFO.
3. A pop-up will appear. Scroll to Actions and press SELECT.
4. Scroll to Make this a Favourite Channel and SELECT.

Individual channel actions

The Actions option in the program information pop-up provides a menu of choices for individual programs and channels.

1. Press the INFO button to select a program in the electronic programming guide (EPG).
2. Scroll to the Actions option in the pop-up and press SELECT.

Actions options and what they mean

• Back takes you to the previous screen. It is the default setting in the Actions list.
• Tune to Channel tunes you to the selected channel.
• Record this Show records a program using the EPG. This requires an IR Blaster, which is installed automatically if you have a compatible VCR. If not, the IR Blaster will be left for you to install. Please see page 9 of the Bell Satellite TV service for Condos user guide that was left behind by the technician.
• Schedule Automatic Tune programs your TV to automatically tune to pre-selected channels. Scroll to desired interval (one time, every Monday to Friday or weekly) and press SELECT to confirm your choice. A confirmation pop-up will appear. Press EXIT to return to regular viewing.
• Lock/Unlock this Channel lets you do just that. Instructions on page 7 of your condo guide book.
• Make this a Favourite Channel/Remove from Favourites Channel lets you add or remove channels from your Favourites line up.
• Unlock all Locks/Reset Parental Lock allows you to unlock or restore all locking commands on the EPG.

Note: Record this Show will be greyed out if the IR Blaster is not set up.
