I’m having trouble sending or receiving picture or video messages
I cannot send picture or video messages
- Can you make calls?
Learn what to do if you can’t make or receive calls on your smartphone. - Are your data services enabled?
To confirm, try surfing Web pages, sending email or instant messaging. If you cannot access these services, you need to troubleshoot your connection.
Learn what to do if your smartphone isn’t getting any voice or data signal. Select your smartphone:
BlackBerry
HTC
Palm
Samsung - Is your phone or device capable of sending a picture message?
Check the list of compatible devices to see if your Bell Mobility phone or smartphone can send or receive picture and video messages. - Are you sending the picture/video message by email or to a valid mobile number?
Check that you are using the correct format:
HSPA/UMTS: +1 905 555-1234 e.g., +336-XXXXXXXX (France)
EVDO/1XRTT: Your 10-digit mobile phone number. - Remove the battery and reinsert it after 10 seconds.
If the issue returns, start over beginning with step 2.

To confirm, enter your own phone number when sending a new picture or video message.
If you receive the message then the issue may lie with the person sending the picture or video message. - Remove the battery and reinsert it after 10 seconds.
If the issue returns, start over beginning with step 2.
