It seems that Call Waiting doesn't work.Does this only happen occasionally? It’s possible that the other party hung up before you answered the call.
If this is a consistent problem, it may be due to a conflict with another feature. Call Waiting won’t work when Call Forwarding is active or when you’re on a conference call. Message Centre picks up before I can answer Call Waiting.

Please refer to the user guide for your phone for information on adjusting the settings for Call Waiting and voicemail.
EVDO/1XRTTIf your phone is set to ring fewer than four times before going to voicemail, you will only hear one beep for Call Waiting. Changing the setting to allow more rings before going to voicemail should solve the problem.
To change the number of rings before your call goes to voicemail:
- Dial *94 from your mobile phone.
- Enter the number of rings you'd like your callers to hear. For Call Waiting to work effectively this should be between four and nine rings.
- Press SEND
- If the change was successful, you'll hear a confirmation tone. If the change wasn't successful, you'll hear a fast busy signal. If this happens, please try again.
