If your Bell Mobility phone isn’t working as expected, you can often fix it yourself. Try these basic troubleshooting steps:
- Make sure your phone has the latest software. If not, update to the latest version.
- Remove then reinsert the battery for a simple reset.
- If you’re having trouble with an app, close it then restart it.
- If you’re having trouble with the Internet connection, check the data settings. For example, make sure airplane mode is off.
See our device support section for help on a variety of topics.
If you’re still having issues, contact us for help. A Bell representative will determine if your phone needs repair and confirm if the problem is covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
If the phone needs to be sent away for repair, you'll be referred to a Bell product assistance centre. You'll be able to track the repair status online.
If you're enrolled in the Smart/Phone Care plan from Bell, you may be covered by the extended warranty. Refer to the Smart/Phone Care terms and conditions for details.
