Pre-authorized chequing plan

The most convenient way to pay is by pre-authorized payment from your bank account. Your bill will be automatically paid on time, every time. This will save you time, postage and late fees.

How it works

  • You'll continue to receive monthly statements (paper or electronic) detailing all charges.
  • The total amount due is deducted automatically from your bank account every month, 18 days after your statement billing date.

How to sign up

You can sign up online in minutes. All you’ll need is your banking information, a My Bell profile, and a recent One Bill.

NOTE: Your financial information is 100% secure.

If you ever want to change your payment information or cancel your automatic payments, you can make changes quickly and easily online.

Pre-authorized credit card plan

You can set up regular pre-authorized payments from the card of your choice.

With our pre-authorized credit card program, your bill will be paid automatically – on time, every time. This will save you time, postage and late fees. Plus, you can:

  • Earn points if you use a credit card with a rewards program
  • Get up to 30 additional days to pay your Bell One Bill (as part of your credit card payment, when your credit card bill is due)

How it works

  • Each month, we automatically charge the total amount of your monthly bill to the credit card you have provided.
  • Your credit card will be charged within seven business days after the bill date.

To sign up for pre-authorized credit card payments, you need to register for or log in to My Bell, and then register for our e-bill service. If you’re already registered, click log in the top right corner.

Changes and cancellations

You can make changes to your pre-authorized credit card plan by logging into My Bell. You or Bell can cancel your pre-authorized payment agreement at any time, with proper notification.

  • Upon termination, any balance owing must be paid directly to Bell.
  • Cancelling your pre-authorized payments does not cancel your Bell services and you are responsible for any past, present or future amounts owing.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure that the credit card information you provide us is up to date and accurate. If your credit card expires while you are subscribed to the pre-authorized credit card plan, you must notify us right away to keep your account in good standing.
  • Please allow 10 to 15 days for us to process your agreement or update.

Cash or cheque

If you prefer to pay your bill by cash or cheque, you can do so:

  • At most banks and financial institutions
  • By mail (using the address on your bill envelope)
  • Or at a local Bell World store (by cheque only)

You will need your original bill. As well, there is usually an administrative fee charged by the banks.
