Using an external hard drive

You can use Remote PVR to view recordings on an external hard drive, if you have one connected to your HD PVR receiver. Recordings on external hard drive will appear next to the recordings on your HD PVR.

However, you cannot have Remote PVR record directly to the external hard drive or move recordings from the HD PVR to the external hard drive.

Note: You currently cannot use Remote PVR with a HD receiver, even if an external hard drive is attached to it.
