My TV is showing Error 311: A serious problem has been detected with your hard drive

Error 311: A serious problem has been detected with your hard drive.

If you see the error code 311 at the top-right corner of the error message on your TV (see diagram),

Try the following:

  1. Unplug the receiver’s power cord from the power outlet or bar.
  2. Wait 30 seconds and plug it back in.

If the message reappears, please contact customer service.
