How to set up the Home Connect Kit on my Bell Satellite TV HD PVR Plus receiver

Contact us

Connect the Bell Satellite TV HD PVR Plus receiver

  1. Connect one end of the Ethernet cable into the Ethernet port on the bottom of the HomePlug adapter.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to an available Ethernet port on your home Internet networking modem or router.
  3. Plug the HomePlug adapter directly to an electrical wall outlet.

Your Bell HD PVR Plus receiver will automatically find the router and connect to the Internet. Note: The receiver should be plugged directly to an electrical wall outlet (and not to a power bar). You don't need to connect any other wires.

Please note: Only DHCP connections are supported. Static IPs or other connection types will not work. If you have Windows XP or Windows 2000, your router or Internet gateway is “DHCP enabled” by default. No further configuration is needed.
