How to set up parental controls on my Bell Satellite TV
- This article applies to:
- 5200 - Dual Tuner PVR , 5900 - PVR Receiver, 5800 - PVR Receiver, 5100 - PVR Receiver, 9241 - HD PVR Plus Receiver , 9200 - HD PVR Plus Receiver , 9242 - HD PVR Plus Receiver and 6400 - HD receiver.

Set a password
- Press MENU on your remote control and select Locks
- Select Lock System
- Create a password and select Ok
- Confirm password and select Ok.

Set locks by channel or by rating
Locks allow you to password-protect programming based on ratings, or on a channel-by-channel basis.
Set locks by channel or by rating- Press MENU on your remote control and select Locks.
- Enter your password and select Ok.
- Choose Channel Locks or Rating Locks.
- Select the channel or rating you wish to lock out.
- A check box will appear to confirm your selection. Select SAVE/DONE.

Set locks by category
- Press MENU on your remote control and select Locks
- Select Lock System
- Select Lock PPV to lock out all Pay-per-Vu! programs.
Note: You can also select Hide Adult to remove adult channels from view.

PG (Parental guidance)
Suitable for children over 8, but supervision recommended for those between 8 and 13
Over 14
Suitable for those over 14
Over 18
Suitable for adults only
NR/AO (No rating/Adult oriented)
Contains graphic language, violence, nudity, adult oriented profanity or strong sexual content
NOTE: Ratings are set by the programmers.
