How to notify Bell of an address change

Bell Internet service move

2-3 weeks before the move:

  • Call 310-SURF (7873): A representative will make sure your address is changed by move day, and we’ll walk you through the details you’ll need to know before your move.
    OR
  • Fill out an online form: We'll call you back to confirm all the details and give you more information to help with your move.

Here’s what we’ll need to know:

  • Move date: Tell us the date that you’ll be moving.
  • Service availability: Check with us to be sure that Bell Internet service is available at your new home. We can do this over the phone, or you can use our online address check.
  • Dial-up connection: Depending on where you move, you might have to change your Bell Internet dial-up number and reconfigure your Bell Internet dialler (dial-up numbers are available online).
  • Keep in mind: You can keep your Bell Internet service even if you decide to switch home phone service providers after your move.
Contact us two to three weeks before your move, so that you can enjoy a smooth transfer of your Bell services. Bell Satellite TV will install a dish and one receiver at your new home, free of charge.*

Bell Mobility mailing address change

In most cases, you only need to make a change of address. To change your address online:

  1. Log in to My Bell.
  2. Select My profile at the top of the page.
  3. Click on Billing and service profile.
  4. Select the tab for your Mobility bill.
  5. Click on the billing address Change button.
  6. Enter your address and click Save.

If you are moving to another province or a region with a different area code, you also have the option to change your mobile phone number.

Contact us two to three weeks before your move, so that you can enjoy a smooth transfer of your Bell services. Bell Satellite TV will install a dish and your receivers at your new home, free of charge.*

Before you contact us, have the following information handy:

  1. Your Bell Satellite TV account number
  2. Your new address, including postal code (No rural routes (RR) or post office (PO) boxes)
  3. Moving date
  4. An alternate phone number where we can reach you during the move (e.g. mobile phone)
  5. Whether you need high definition and/or international programming at your new address

If you are only moving your Bell Satellite TV service

Call us at 1 888 759-3474.

If you have multiple Bell services

Fill out the web form or call 310-BELL.

What to do on moving day?

What you need: Pack up all of your receivers, remote controls and internal switches and take them with you.

What you DON'T need: Leave your satellite dish behind. Bell will provide a new dish if one isn't currently installed at your new address.

What to do on the day of your installation appointment?

Unpack your equipment - Place your televisions, receivers, remote controls and internal switches in the rooms where you want them connected.

Be home - The account holder must be on-site for the duration of the installation. If you can't be home at that time, please ensure a representative, 18-years of age or older, will be on-site to authorize the installation and sign the agreement on your behalf.

Installation times - Installation may start at any time during the scheduled appointment window and may extend beyond the allotted time, depending on requirements. Below are average installation times:

  • Basic installation with single-tuner receiver: 2 to 2.5 hours
  • Basic installation with 2 single-tuner receivers: 2.5 to 3 hours
  • Basic installation with one dual-tuner receiver: 3 hours

What to do after your appointment

Once your installation is completed, call Bell Satellite TV at 1 888 759-3474 to reinstate your programming.

*Offer available to residential clients with an account in good standing, once every 6 months. Subject to change without notice. Covers basic installation. Extra fees and taxes extra. Other conditions apply.
