Contact us two to three weeks before your move, so that you can enjoy a smooth transfer of your Bell services. Bell Satellite TV will install a dish and your receivers at your new home, free of charge.*
Before you contact us, have the following information handy:
- Your Bell Satellite TV account number
- Your new address, including postal code (No rural routes (RR) or post office (PO) boxes)
- Moving date
- An alternate phone number where we can reach you during the move (e.g. mobile phone)
- Whether you need high definition and/or international programming at your new address

What to do on moving day?
What you need: Pack up all of your receivers, remote controls and internal switches and take them with you.
What you DON'T need: Leave your satellite dish behind. Bell will provide a new dish if one isn't currently installed at your new address.
What to do on the day of your installation appointment?
Unpack your equipment - Place your televisions, receivers, remote controls and internal switches in the rooms where you want them connected.
Be home - The account holder must be on-site for the duration of the installation. If you can't be home at that time, please ensure a representative, 18-years of age or older, will be on-site to authorize the installation and sign the agreement on your behalf.
Installation times - Installation may start at any time during the scheduled appointment window and may extend beyond the allotted time, depending on requirements. Below are average installation times:
- Basic installation with single-tuner receiver: 2 to 2.5 hours
- Basic installation with 2 single-tuner receivers: 2.5 to 3 hours
- Basic installation with one dual-tuner receiver: 3 hours
What to do after your appointment
Once your installation is completed, call Bell Satellite TV at 1 888 759-3474 to reinstate your programming.
