If you bought your Sony Ericsson X10 from Bell, it is already set up for the Bell Mobility 4G network.
Follow these instructions to manually configure an unlocked Sony Ericsson X10 for multimedia messaging (MMS) and browsing on the Bell Mobility 4G network.
Please note that you will have to reprogram these settings any time you insert a different SIM card or if you reset the phone.
Follow these instructions to manually configure an unlocked Sony Ericsson X10 for multimedia messaging (MMS) and browsing on the Bell Mobility 4G network.
- In the idle mode, press Menu > Settings.
- Select Wireless & networks.
- Select Mobile networks.
- Select Access Point Names and press the Menu key to add a new setting.
- Enter the following settings:
Name: Bell
APN: pda.bell.ca
Proxy: web.wireless.bell.ca
Port: 80
Username:
Password:
Server:
MMSC: http://mms.bell.ca/mms/wapenc
MMSC proxy: web.wireless.bell.ca
MMS port: 80
MCC: 302
MNC: 610
Authentication type:
APN type: - Press Menu and Save.
- Select Bell to activate the new settings.
