How to configure my Sony Ericsson K850i for the Bell Mobility 4G network

Configure browser settings
- From the standby screen, select Menu > Settings > Connectivity (navigate right to this tab) > Internet settings
- Select Connect using
- Press Options (left soft key*) and select Create new
- Select PS data
- Enter the following information: Name: Bell WAP Connection
APN: pda.bell.ca - Press Save (left soft key)
- With the newly created name (Bell WAP Connection) highlighted, press Options (left soft key), and select Edit
- Scroll down to highlight Proxy settings, and select Edit
- Scroll to highlight Proxy, select Edit, and select On
- Scroll down to highlight Proxy servers, and select Edit
- Select HTTP, then enter and save the following information: Username: <leave blank>
Password: <leave blank>
Proxy address: web.wireless.bell.ca
Port: 80 - Navigate back to the Data account screen, scroll and highlight the name you created above (Bell WAP Connection). Press Select (middle soft key), and then press Save (left soft key)
*Soft keys are buttons whose function changes depending on the context. Their current function is usually identified on the display, right next to the buttons.

Configure multimedia messaging service (MMS) settings
- From the standby screen, select Menu > Settings > Connectivity (navigate right to this tab) > Internet settings
- Select Connect using
- Press Options (left soft key*), and select Create new
- Select PS data
- Enter the following information:
Name: Bell MMS Connection
APN: pda.bell.ca - Press Save (left soft key)
- With the newly added account name highlighted, press Options (left soft key), and select Edit
- Scroll down to highlight Authentication, and select Edit
- Select (mark) PAP, and deselect (unmark) all other options. Press Save (left soft key)
- Scroll down to highlight Proxy settings, and select Edit
- Scroll to highlight Proxy, select Edit, and select On
- Scroll down to highlight Proxy servers, and select Edit
- Select HTTP, then enter and save the following information:
Username: <leave blank>
Password: <leave blank>
Proxy address: web.wireless.bell.ca
Port: 80 - Go back to the previous screen and apply the settings for HTTP to Secure and Streaming
- Press Back to save the settings and return to the main screen
- Navigate to Menu > Messages > Settings > Picture message > MMS Profile, and select Edit
- Scroll to New Profile and press Add (middle soft key)
- Enter the following information:
MMS profile name: Bell MMS Profile
Message server: http://mms.bell.ca/mms/wapenc
Connect using: select Bell MMS Connection (created above) - Press Save (left soft key)
- Scroll and highlight the MMS profile name that you just created (Bell MMS Profile), and press Select (middle key)
