A product assistance centre may be able to give you a loaner phone if they have to send your mobile phone or smartphone out for repair. Fees may apply and the models available may vary. They’ll try to give you a smartphone loaner similar to your own phone. For example, if you have a Windows smartphone, they’ll loan you another Windows smartphone. If you own a BlackBerry® smartphone, they'll loan you an equivalent BlackBerry smartphone.
It’s a good idea to back up your information at your home or office before getting a loaner. This will ensure that you don’t lose important information when you transfer it to or from a loaner smartphone or while your smartphone is out for repair.
