Sending Text to Landline messages
Send a Text to Landline message as you would a regular text message.
- From your mobile phone’s Main Menu, choose Send Message in the Messaging category.
- Select Text and enter the landline phone number you’d like to send the message to.
- Type your message and press Send.
To address a text message to multiple landline numbers, simply enter the recipients' phone numbers in the "to" field. Each phone number will be delivered and billed as a separate message.
Text to Landline is available in both English and French.
You can type your message in English or French and have the landline message delivered in the language of your choice.
To change the delivery language:
Before writing your Text to Landline message, text "E" (for English) or "F" (for French) to short code 4122.

Receiving Text to Landline messages
Once a Text to Landline message is sent, a call is placed to the recipient so they can listen to the message in voice format.
If there is no answer, the message is placed on the recipient’s answering service. If there is no answering service, the system will attempt to deliver the message until the maximum number of rings is reached, then will retry after 10 minutes, and once more after 30 minutes.
